Find your deep autumn wedding inspiration, with rich warm colours, intimate and sophisticated – and relaxed at the same time!  Sound impossible?

I am so excited to share with you the most amazing styled photoshoot that showcases just how beautiful your deep autumn wedding can be. The photographer is the talented Emma Drew Batty

Trends suggest that couples are looking for that relaxed rustic feel, moving away from the glitz towards what is meaningful for them.  The legacy of Covid (I promise not to mention it again!) means that smaller, more intimate weddings are gaining in popularity – with perhaps a big party on the first wedding anniversary.  And let’s not forget elopements – leaving behind the stress and worry about guest management and ballooning costs.  Sometimes simple is simply perfect!

Deep Autumn Flowers

Fresh flowers are stunning – true!  Can you depend on the colours and variety (especially your particular favorites) being available on your autumn wedding day?  Erm….

I invite you to experience the simple beauty of everlasting flowers. I choose exquisite silk blooms to bring romance and beauty to your wedding day.   My style is gentle and natural – think country chic and rustic – rich in flowers and rich in meaning.  This is floristry that adds special magic through the ancient meanings of your chosen flowers, to treasure for ever.  The quality is superb and the variety available at any time of the year is huge.

For the bouquet I chose blousy red silk roses, deep orange real touch calla lilies and spikes of orange buddleia, backed by lush foliage.  The bride had a soft orange crown, and for the groom, a fun bowtie with silk peach hydrangea blossom and burgundy silk baby’s breath.

Deep Autumn Decor

Wondering if a barn is simply too big for a small wedding?  Imaginative use of flowers, foliage and décor can make the space look wonderful, enhancing the intimacy.  Consider deep reds, greens and gold for that warm luxurious effect.  Pumpkins, hedgerow fruits, beautiful jars and candles complete the rustic autumn look.

Heard of an asymmetrical arch?  Think two columns of flowers and foliage that don’t quite meet at the top ….. these are incredibly versatile as they can be easily placed and moved, to frame a doorway, or the couple for photos or to highlight the cake or any other feature. Red roses and cream silk peonies nestle among lush greenery and grasses.

Lush flowers and greenery make this asymmetrical arch the perfect addition to your decor.

Add in an exquisitely designed cake to complement the overall theme and BOOM!  Spectacular!
